Ten minutes east
On the eastern edge of an ordinary week
Moore Park, NSW sits on the western boundary of the area we cover, which in practice makes us a stop rather than a special trip for anyone already heading east along Oxford Street.
The treatment side is simple enough to set out plainly. Adults want to know how discreet this can be, and the honest answer is very — provided the case suits aligners or ceramic brackets. Teenagers are usually in fixed braces because the bite as well as the alignment is still moving. Children benefit most from a first look around seven, which shows how things are developing without committing anyone to anything.
Which of those three conversations you are having is settled in the first appointment, not before it. Moore Park sits in the City of Sydney area. Our approach more broadly is on the orthodontist in Sydney page.
The full spread of suburbs we cover sits on our areas we service page.

What we treat
Braces, clear aligners and children’s orthodontics
Three conversations, decided by age and by what the teeth actually have to do rather than by preference.
Clear aligners
Removable trays covering most crowding and spacing, out for meals and events. Clear aligners →
Ceramic braces
Fixed, tooth coloured brackets, doing the work of steel without the appearance. Ceramic braces →
Traditional braces
Steel brackets. The most versatile appliance and often the shortest route. Traditional braces →
Early treatment for children
A first look around seven, usually ending in a review date rather than treatment. Children’s orthodontics →
Adult orthodontics
Routine, and discretion is nearly always the first thing raised. Adult orthodontics →
Retainers
What decides whether the result is still there in ten years. Retainers →

Questions we are asked most often
Do I need a referral?
No. Book an assessment directly.
How far is the practice from Moore Park?
Ten minutes by car via Moore Park Road and Oxford Street. We are at 135 Edgecliff Road, Woollahra 2025.
Are clear aligners suitable for everyone?
No. They cover most crowding and spacing but only work while worn, and some bite corrections need the constant control of fixed braces.
When should a child first be seen?
Around age seven, when enough adult teeth are through to show how the jaws are developing.
What is the difference between an orthodontist and a dentist?
Three further years of full time specialist training in moving teeth and correcting bites, on top of a dental degree.
Can adults have treatment without it showing?
In most cases, using aligners or ceramic braces.
How long does treatment run?
A few months to about two years, depending on what is being corrected.
What will it cost?
We go through it at the assessment once the treatment is known.
