Lifestyle Orthodontics is an orthodontic practice with two Sydney locations: 135 Edgecliff Rd, Woollahra, and Suite 2, 600 Military Rd, Mosman. We treat children, teenagers and adults with braces, Invisalign and other clear aligners, early (interceptive) treatment and complex orthodontic care. You don’t need a referral to book.
Prof. Ali Darendeliler
The practice is led by Professor Ali Darendeliler. He completed specialist training in orthodontics at the University of Geneva, and has spent close to 20 years as a professor of orthodontics, lecturing across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. His research covers orthodontic tooth movement, root resorption, obstructive sleep apnoea, temporary anchorage devices and sequential aligners. He is often asked to treat patients with demanding clinical needs.
Our team also includes Dr Roshanak (Roshy) Boustan, an Australian orthodontic board and AHPRA registered specialist orthodontist, and Dr Eduardo Alcaino, a specialist paediatric dentist. Between them, families can have orthodontic and children’s dental care in one place.
Prof. Darendeliler speaks English, French and Turkish, so patients and parents can talk through treatment in their preferred language.

Every treatment plan starts with a full assessment of your teeth, bite and jaw. What to Expect When You See Our Orthodontist
1. Book a consultation
Call 02 8412 0085 or book online. No referral is needed. If you’d like an early opinion first, you can send photos of your smile through our virtual consultation.
2. Assessment
Your orthodontist examines your teeth, bite and jaw, and takes the records needed to plan treatment, such as photos, scans and X-rays where appropriate.
3. Your treatment plan
We explain the options that suit your case, the expected treatment time, and your fees, so you can decide with all the information in front of you.
4. Treatment and check-ins
Appointments are spaced through your treatment. Many patients also use Dental Monitoring, a smartphone app that lets your orthodontist review your progress remotely between visits.
5. Keeping your result
Once active treatment finishes, retainers help hold your teeth in their new position. We’ll show you how to wear and care for them.
How Much Does an Orthodontist Cost in Sydney?
Orthodontic fees differ from patient to patient. They depend on the treatment chosen, how complex the case is and how long treatment runs, so we give you your fees after your consultation, once your orthodontist has assessed your needs.

Children
An orthodontic check at around age 6 or 7 can pick up developing bite and jaw problems early, while a child is still growing.
